Skype

Me and Dominique are taking shared responsibility of project manager, as well as other roles.

We organised a skype meeting, that only the two of us attended, but we decided on more content ideas to talk about in the presentation.

Idea: Cadburys can use brainient to make competitions for their customers. For example, similar to the Wispa campaign, create your own chocolate bar. Choose chocolate type, filling, name etc.

We also had to motivate Sean and Gabriel more to be involved.

you need to pick a role and have a few key points to say. I am head of creative, dom is head of social media, we are both acting as project managers. Gabriel is head of PR. we chose from the list of roles. if you point out a few things you might want to talk about and then i can pick some pictures for the presentation. Can you do that by tomorrow morning?

Presentation

It was mentioned in the formative that our presentations need to be more visual. I have taken on the task to create a visual presentation through Prezi - which is much better to use than Brainient.

Brainient Video

So I downloaded one of the Cadbury viral adverts to have a play with Brainient. Personally it annoyed me a lot, and I must of deleted several things by accident as it was not clear.
Why can it not command z like other online editing tools? You just have to delete and start over again!

Marketing Idea

The rest of the group decided not to do the chocolate bar/snow white idea because no one has time to make something. Instead we should pick a brand that already has viral video's.

We decided Cadbury would be the company we market Brainient for.

Idea's to market

I posted this to the Facebook Group as an idea for our presentation.

From what I gathered from yesterday, we can make a short film and learn how to market it but at the same time we have to use brainient to show it off for the web. Whos up for a video/animation short?
I was thinking an easy one would to be a fairy story or something. Unless someone has an unique idea?

We discussed that we need to keep it very simple, and can use all of our resources (film and animation) to create it with.

I was thinking for example, in snow white she gets given a poison apple from a creepy woman, and with brainient she can choose to eat or not eat the apple. eat the apple - die, dont eat the apple - live and do something else, like a chocolate bar or something...

Questionnaire

Me and Gabriel met up in University today, to discuss what to do in our group. However Sean and Dominique couldn't make the meeting, so we decided just to create a poll for research instead.

The poll would investigate how consumers feel is the best approach to advertise for them, we thought of the following ways to advertise to customers: through Billboards/Posters, The Internet, Television, One-to-One chat, Piracy, Radio, Magazines.

24/51 people agreed that the best way to sell products to an audience is through the internet. Following was Television, One to One chat and Billboards.
