Archie 10

However....
Archie kept falling over due to
heat, as the plasticine became
too warm. To re-correct this flaw,
I decided to put Archie in the
fridge, (in the vegetable
section) overnight.

I then added some shoes to the end of Archie's legs, and found that he could balance.

I then rolled out the plasticine into sausage shapes and attached them onto the skeleton, and added more plasticine to his waist so they appear like trousers.

The color of his trousers would be a dark green, to make this color i mixed green and red.

I began making Archie's legs, which is possibly the most difficult as they have to balance his torso. I first started off with a skeleton, but did not add foil to pad it out.

Archie 5

I then began adding plasticine to the foil body, I started with the jumper, and rolled out brown plasticine for the smoking jacket. I added the shoulders and arms with more foil and wire, and added detail around the trim of the jacket.

For the body I would need to start with a skeleton, from Archie's head. For this is used wire. I then padded out a body using tinfoil, to save on plastecine.

To make the hands first i started off with a blob, that looked like a mitten. I then cut into the plasticine, for the fingers and moulded the fingers until they looked as life-like as possible.

I first made the head and hands, i mixed white and a little bit of black plasticine together to make the blue/grey color.
